Designs for clothing are completely different than your normal designs. Let me explain. I’ve already talked about the different type of prints and fabrics in my previous video so go check it out.
I had to change my designs for IMBUZI, altogether and here’s why. When you make a design for t-shirt printing, you first need to make sure that there are no thin elements in it like a thin line.
This is because thin elements generally do not stick well on the fabric and you will start to see them peel off, especially in a DTF or a sticker print.
Secondly, make sure to label each of the designs with relevant print tags this way the manufacturer would easily be able to make it.
And after learning all of these things, we’ve finalised 3 designs and sent them for production, once we have the samples which would be within a week or so. We’ll start right off. And this was for day 20, 21 of the challenge
